Intermitten power windows

Have 99 f350 crew cab
Power windows work intermitten some times work some times don't . Even had times I put window down at drive thru than won't go back up. Any body have this problem before or have any suggestions

First check your electrical connections to your drivers side window controle switch on your door panel. If they are good you'll need to catch it when its not working, pull your drivers door panel off and probe the terminals connected to the window control switch. When you're probing it, you wanna see if youre getting power to your switches. (if your VSM (vehicle security module) is sending power to your switches). I had something similar with my 02 when I bought it. I ended up having to replace the VSM, had Ford learn the VSM to my truck and everything has worked great 2 years later.

mine did the same thing although not a crew cab it turned out to be a broken wire in loom between the door and the body.
