center overhead consol from f150

hey guys i have been sitting around in a cast itching to start playing with my new truck and just realized i don't have an overhead consol in my 03 f350 xlt, however i have one sitting in my 2000 f150 xlt. Just wondering if anyone knew how hard it would be to do the transfer.. I know i would have to trim the head liner for it but are the mounting options there for it? what about wiring? this consol has the compass, temp, and two cubbies

I bought a kit off ebay from a guy the converts a f150 overhead console to fit in a f250 with temp & compass.Came with full install directions and install headliner template.I love it. It even has cubby hole doors for garage door opener & sunglass holder which came on the f150's.The only thing is I dont remember his sellers name or dont even know if he's still selling on ebay. But if you find him it's definatly worth it.Good luck.

No the trucks aren't wired for the overhead console.I not positive on all trucks but mine wasn't.If I remember correctly i ran a few wires from behind the dash,up under the window pillow trim and some wires to the front grille area for the outside temperature sensor. You could prolly google some install directions on installing one on a f250/F350.
