speakers?

Any of you guy put aftermarket speakers in? If so what would you recommend. I have a pioneer radio, but the speakers should matter since they just plug in anyway Thanks!!

We're kinda limited in our trucks since they're extended cabs, not much room for subs and all that fancy stuff. The front door and rear suicide door speakers are the same size, 5x7 - 6x8. There are a lot of choices out there for that size speaker just depends on what you're looking for. I put a set of Alpine 6x9s in the rear speaker locations but had to open the mounting holes up with a die grinder and cutoff wheel and will be putting new 6x8s in the front doors just haven't decided which ones yet. Just about any aftermarket speaker you put in your truck will be better than stock. If nothing else, go to crutchfield online, enter your rig info and they'll tell you what fits to give you an idea of whats out there, they have decent prices if you decide to buy through them as well. Thanks, yah I just wanna get speakers like you said not a lot of room for amps or anything.. Next truck il get a full system in. But first I gotta get 4 doors

Only speakers I would buy is Alpine, infinity, kicker is good too.

I have kicker 6x8 all the way around . Alpine head unit. And a amp for my speakers and sub

I had pioneer speakers in it before the kickers, they sucked I don't like pioneer

I just put in Infinity Reference 6x8s all the way around and love them. The price is decent on them from amazon too. I run them through an external amp. Also running single kicker comp and am working on custom center console.

I just purchased a pair of Alpine SPS-517s for my front doors. Will I need an adapter in order to connect them to the factory wiring?

Ya kicker 6x8 are good for 100 buck I have them. But I saw some alpine type r 6x8 and they blow our kickers out of the water it's crazy but also cost 190.00 for a pair.
