Screens ford dvds?
Anyone have advice for a screens? I have an alpine unit that has DVD capability but no screens. What are my options? Get a couple of headrest units, roof mount, or seeing as how I don't have a center console/seat maybe build up something from there? The truck is an extended cab and I just want something back there for my daughter on long trips. West Texas can get pretty boring looking out the window!
Thanks |

I have alpine head unit installed, run the dvd to an MD sound md-15.1G monitor. Mounted where the dome light was...kinda bulky but the kids enjoy it. Didnt cost much either, got it on ebay.

How is it attached to the roof? Is there a bracket under the headliner or did you have to rig something up?

It came with a plate...about 12"x14". Mounts up to where the dome light screwed in. Pretty straight forward install. The monitor has 2 lights and a button to replace the dome light. Not a bad set up...if I remember right it was around 200$
