radio went wacky

2000 F250 diesel XLT
suddenly radio won't hold any station-- FM or AM-- jumps from station to station randomly
any way to reset radio or do I need a new one?
If I need a new one any used or rebuilt options? aftermarket?

Sounds like the seek button may be shorting. You could try pulling it apart and cleaning the contacts on the button with contact cleaner, carb cleaner or WD40. Otherwise I would just use it as an excuse to upgrade to a nice aftermarket unit.
