Very cool, I have an older AVIC with some hacks done to it. I should really check out the new units and see what they have to offer.

Yeah this one is about a year old. It was in my buddy's blazer, pretty sweet though. Touch screen. CD, DVD, Aux, USB, and SD inputs. Reverse camera to be installed soon

As of now they are still stock (made them sound 10 times better though) but I'm going to put Kenwood Excelons on a 600W 4 Channel Amp soon..

Nice job. Thight fit, aren't they? I just put in a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT in my '01... Love it. Sounds so much better than the stock head unit. I thought it was the speakers, so ths past summer when I fixed my power door locks, I replaced the speakers and it still sounded like garbage. I also did the bypass so I could use all the features when rolling down the road.

Yeah my speakers sounded horrible as well, but my buddy is the installer at a local car audio/video store here (and is absolutely awesome at what he does) and he told me that it would make them sound much better, and he was definitely right. Very tight fit..we actually had to cut out the whole inside lip to make it fit. Makes me feel better that I don't have to rush to get speakers, although I know I still will.
