how to added heated seats?
Dumb question, but is there any way to add heated seats to a 02 lariat, it has everything power except heated seats. Or should i just look for a wrecked truck and swap the seats?
cause NE indiana is colder than Shiat right now! thanks |

There are some aftermarket companies offering heated seat kits for about 100 bucs each you install. just google heated seats

I added them to my wife's car a couple of years ago. Bought them on eBay, they were the "carbon fiber" type (as opposed to wire I guess) and were incredibility easy to install.
I never "skinned" a newer seat before but these ('07 PT Cruiser) seats had tracks & rails (as opposed to hog rings) and stripped easily. Then, you just cut & fit these pads (4 - 1 ea seat bottom & back) underneath and reassemble. They worked really well! I wouldn't think twice about doing it again... |

Just did this to my truck last week. I got my kit from pfyc. Com 80 bucks shipped had it installed about 2.5 hours first time ever doing this. Probably the best thing I've done so far.

can you do it with cloth seats?
where does the switch go? im sure i can come across a totaled one and get the heated leather seats out of it and have them recovered to match my interior, but that would cost me too much in the long run, plus, my butt don get THAT cold, the lady would just enjoy the heated seats |

My wife's seats were cloth, and you can mount the switches where ever you want, they just control the relays.
