Where to Install my CB?

Hey Guys, I am new to the forums, Just bought a 2000 F250 Lariat with the 7.3, I wanted to see where you guys may have placed your cbs, I have the vinyl floors, but figure I probably shouldnt drill into it, I have the Cobra 29 Classic, Pics would be helpful, Thanks!!!!

i made a bracket out of diamond plate because im anti drilling into my dash





by the way thats a cobra 29 night watch just an old *** mic

I mounted mine to the ceiling/roof

would I be alright drilling into the floor like you did? the floor is vinyl and it feels soft under it.

Also, where did you get the diamond plate?

I didnt drill into the floor it just sits there, and doesnt move, but i got the diamond plate out of an old junk toolbox i have, however they sell diamond plate at home depot/lowes by me

looks good, do you have any issues when wheeling or anything with it moving around?

any pics of that? how did you secure it up there? what mount did you use?

I have mine mounted vertical in front of the center seat. its got about 1" of space between the seat and the CB. holds half rolls of Copenhagen perfectly. I modified a standard bracket and mounted to the floor.

i have a bracket that i made, i don't have a cb yet, but i made one that bolts under the center seat and sits right in front of it. i will take pics when i get the set up done.
