05+ in dash 6disc in a 2000?

Does the head unit from an 05 or newer truck have the same plugs and mount that the one in my truck has?

Nope, the '05 has a true double din, yeah you can trim your dash to fit a 2din, but I doubt it would be able to mount it the same way after you trim the dash. Not too sure about the wiring harness plugs, doubt they'd be the same though

6 disc player from a ford escape is a direct factory plug in.. did it to mine.
