Best position and orientation for 12 inch sub
Has anyone mounted a 12 inch sub in a LWB crew cab 2001 PSD? Any suggestions re where to put it and how to orient it would be appreciated.
I left the house planning to buy a 10 inch sub and came back with a 12 inch. Basically I couldn't resist it and convinced myself I'd find a way to install the thing. I've taken a few measurements and the best plan of attack I've come up with is to mount it facing the floor under the back seat. I need to build an enclosure around the sub and the height of the back seat is about equal to the sub. So I can't add an additional inch for fiber board, so I'm considering having the magnet poking out the top of the enclosure like a kind of "port" in the enclosure. |

There was a thread somewhere that a guy installed an L7 square 12" sub in the center seat in front. He had alot of pictures of how he did it. Heres a link to a thread that has some links to companies that make boxes.
