double din screen installation trimming?

i keep hearin that you have to trim something in your dash to make a double din screen fit in a 2001 f250. i just ordered a pioneer and it said it would fit but i figured that it wouldnt fit without the trimming which is no big deal. i was just wandering if anyone has done a double din installation with a 99-04 model

Very easy to do. a little trimming on the top and bottom and your good. It should be done one the inside of the dash not the cover.
