blower speed control works intermittently?
99 ford 250, the temp selector works and the positon lever works but the speed control knob works out of the blue intermittently. so it eaither has to be something with the blower motor or relay or regulator on motor? any ideas on this one.
thanks in advance |

You need a new blower motor resistor. It's like $15 from Ford.

well the old one was all crudded up on heater element. but it did not fix the issue. i know the blower works bc a week ago hit a big bump and it turned on for few secinds. what else could it be?

If it worked when you hit a bump, then your blower motor is going out. Happened in my Cavalier... it'd work when I went over a bump or had somebody kick it.
