Door lock / remote problem

I have a 2002 f250. When using my keyless entry I have to be in very close proximity to the driver or passenger door for the keyless entry to work. I have already changed the battery and that did not fix the problem. I can't even stand at the hood of the truck and get the keyless entry to work...Anyone have any ideas?!

I had a fob that went bad, I had to be close to the truck and it would only lock the driver door. Go on Ebay and get you a new fob just check and make sure it fits your application. I paid $10 for mine 3 weeks ago.

Ford fobs have a lifetime replacement...I think. At least in AZ they do. Went through 3 of em and didn't pay a cent. Just ask a local dealership.

better look for my old one, I'll try to get a new one.
