mounting the pillar.....
Alright guys i am gona put my new pillar and gauges in my truck this week soon as the crops are out and I can get into the old mans shop, but i was looking at my pod and if I pull the factory pillar molding out then there is no way that my new pod will fit then after doing a search I found out that you put the pod over the factory pillar molding which make sense. However it looks like a tight fit for the gauges and i wasnt sure if it was necesary to cut the factory piece? also Im thinking about routing my wires and my lines through the gap at the top of the fender between the fender and the cab. does this sound right? or do you guys run the lines someplace else?
thanks Jim |

Yes most of these cover the factory molding. What truck is this going in?
I installed pillar pod in my 93 and don't have any issues I know prosport makes shallow gauges. |
