which wire!
i am trying to finish up my install of a 10" sub in my 2002 crew cab and ive hit a road block!!!i need to know which wire to splice into for signal from my factory head unit to the amp stock head unit is the cd/casset unit help would be greatly appreiciated asap! Jake |

i think theres a harness that will work for that. but for stock i dunno.

you should really get a new head unit with the pre-outs on it all ready...but i believe you need a little device that you wire into the speaker wire for the rear which will turn the speaker wires into outputs to run to the amp. then you will have to wire the rears up with the fronts as the stocker should only have front and rear speaker outs in the form of wire only. sound quality is diminished by the adapter as well. $150 bucks on an aftermarket deck plus 20 for the conversion kit to go from double din to single would be much easier. We got one with a usb out on the front and put all our cds on the usb drive , plugs right into the front of the stereo and behold...lots of music

You need a line out converter for the RCAs. For your remote turn on, just hook it up to the power wire going to the headunit. If it's wired like my 2000, it's the 2nd wire from the left, top row.
