door pannel from 05 on 2000 model?

I have a 2000 model, and the door pannels are shot, I was told that the door pannels will fit off a new 2005 model, so I ordered a set of 2005 Outlaw pannels, I have yet to open them and try them out yet, ( I hope this weekend)but now I'm wondering about the newer style window switches? I wonder if the newer switch style will fit with the origional trucks harness or will I have to stick with the older 2000 style buttons for the locks and windows?

I suppose you could just cut off the connector from the old switch wires and splice it onto the new switch.
