CB location in Super Duty?

I'm coming out of an OBS, I had my CB mounted to the dash in a perfect spot. Pulled out the ash tray, and it looked like it was supposed to be there.

MY question, do any of you super duty guys have a CB in your truck, and where did you mount the bastard? There are no flat spots inside a truck anymore...

A great spot, where I mount my CB is just under the jump seat. It is out of sight though, and I mounted it there because here there are a lot of truck break ins. It works great. all the cords are out of sight. I would suggest getting a wireless bluetooth mic. I have not done any research on them though.

Here are a couple. I keep the mic in my door until I need it. I only talk on it about 2 or 3 times a month.

I have a connex that I would like to put in. You can buy a spacer for the jump seat and it will work. By spacer I mean washer up or put a spacer between the mounting brackets of the jump seat so that it will be lifted up slightly. My connex fits perfect, but the terminals are out in it so I put the small one back in. I saw a great place in a truck at a shop in San Antonio. Someone took out the upfitter switches and the CB they had fit like a glove. It looked like they bought a stereo mount at walmart. I would do that but I like my upfitters

I have my Cobra 29 NW LTD mounted up top...

Never seen another overhead bin like that before, came in the truck when I got it. Had to dremel the wood a bit to make it fit, but it fits great.
