factory steering wheel that had carbon fiber top and bottom

Im looking to replace my steering wheel in my 99 f250 lariat. I remember from the auction i worked at seeing some super dutys with a carbon fiber top and bottom with black leather. Thought they came on sport models?

Anyone know? My tan leather on is worn and dirty.

I'm not sure about the steering wheel, but I did find 4 door panels today at the wrecking yard in a truck that have carbon inserts above the door pulls/armrests. I was thinking about going and seeing if the pop off the panels, and if they do I don't know if I'd use them, or sell them. Let me know if you find a wheel, as I was contemplating bringing my tools there tomorrow to see if I can get them off. I'll look for a carbon wheel too, as there are probably 40-50 99-newer cabs out there. I did see one decent condition '05 grille too.

proonthasnow- the steering wheel im looking for would be with that same truck. They had the carbon inserts on the doors and the lid to the console was carbon fiber and also the top & bottom of the steering wheel and the rest of the wheel is black leather. IF you find one id pay you some extra for finding and shipping it to me.

Let me know if you run across one- they came on the sport models so if there are any pieces left on the truck the clues would be painted front and rear bumpers

I have the carbon fiber inserts in the door & center console, but just a leather steering wheel.

dude seriously where do you live??? i cant find a junk yard that even has one psd in it here in arkansas! the ones around my parts only sell the whole vehicle.

There is a member on this forum that will take your factory wheel and cut the worn leather part out and install wood grain in it's place but I can't remember who it is.
