Can anyone tell me the the dimensions of the opening of the spot where you mount the switches. and has anybody mounted a CB in there or a siren. Im looking to put a siren unit in that spot. Thanks

there wasnt room for mine when i had it. you might fit a small remote mount. but nothing big without some major work.

I would go with a remote if you are set on that location, or mount to the front of the lower dash trim the bracket and hang it lower. I don't have anyone in the middle, so my stack is there- right now it has the VHF radio, siren, lightbar switch box and CB... the laptop mounts above the seat in the middle...
The siren might have gone in there for me- it was a smaller premiere hazard unit I had from one of my old trucks, but the stack was already started with the VHF and CB...

well i plan on buying a whelen 295hf and its only 6x2.5" i think it will fit. i also have a galls wigwag box im going to build into it too
