Converting???????????

Just wondering, I'm in the middle of upgrading my interior. Will the dash of say an 08 or newer fit in an 02? I have already changed the door panels and other interior stuff. Just was thinking!!!! ( this could be a bad thing).

You've already changed your door panels and "other interior stuff"? What do you mean? I've got an '01 Lariat Supercab that I want to change out the tan to a darker color... grey or black. Is that what you've done? and where did you go to find the interior door panels and such? I really REALLY want to get rid of the tan interior...

Also, I'm interested in knowing how/if this conversion is possible too.

Our trucks (99-04) are not a direct swap, no. The '05-07 isnt a huge change but little things such as vents, stereo, and A/C will not line up right. Some custom work will need to be done or alot of $$ in little parts. The '08 will reguire a new sub structure from the research I have done. The are a couple people on here that are closer to doin it than me. Give them time to come across this thread and they will prob post up. I would love to do a full '08 interior swap with a ton of custom work. Its last on the list for my SEMA build. Worst case, I can roll up the windows and lock the doors, lol.

Sorry for the delay Super Diesel. I've been working. As far as the interior I took apart the whole thing, went to NAPA and got the SEMS brand spray die. It's alot of work but it's the cheapest way I have found to change colors. Mine had the denmin blue color nad that was getting old to look at. You have have to clean and clean some more. LOL. I used a scotch brite pad and acetone to clean with. I put like five light coats on every thing, then sprayed over it with a low luster shine ( from SEMS). It's a good product. I have a buddy that does auto-body and he uses it all the time. I went back to Napa last week and bought the same stuff to do my grill and lowers valance. If I can I'll put up some pics......
