Anyone use Rear Buckets as Front Seats??

I am wondering how much work/fabrication would be involved in order to use rear crew cab bucket seats/console as front seats? Has anyone attempted to do this? I would think if the seat tracks from the original front seats could be unbolted and moved over to the rear seats, that it would be a pretty straight forward process. I'm just not sure if that is actually possible.

My truck is an early 99, so I the seat belts are not integrated into the front seats, so that should make things simpler.

what is a rear bucket seat? never seen one in the rear before

just wondering but why would you do that ?why not use a pair of front buckets from a f 250/350 . if i am not mistaken the back ( bucket seats ) from a king ranch or harley f250 / 350 are smaller in size . but the seat tracks from the front might line up to the base of the seat . the bucket seats from a f150 will fit in the front ( with some mod to the track ) i think............ if you want to trade the back buckets for some front buckets . i call dibs lol ,............

The reason I ask is becuase I found a nice set of leather buckets seats and console for sale locally, but they are the rear seats from a crew cab truck.

I have read of people using front captains in the rear with very little modifications, but never the other way around. Here is a picture and link showing the rear captain seat option:

this are extended cab seats, if I am not mistaken they come on 02 to 07 exteded cab truck only,

A buddy of mine in Stephenville has a short bed powerstroke.... Im not sure if its red tho. He told me he bought one from a guy in Florida, but I didnt ask him what color it is
