LED bulbs for instrument panel?

So, I received my gauges today and noticed on the paperwork that it mentions changing out the bulbs for LED bulbs. My question is, who has tried this and how do you like it? I am installing these in my dash and have it apart already. So, I am also wondering if the instrument cluster might look good with them too? Any pics or feedback would be great.

What specific gauges did you get?

Autometer z-series pyrometer and trans temp. I like the gauges, I have just heard some people say they didn't care for the lights on them at night. I am also not so happy with the way I mounted them last night. Apparently I should have waited on the beers until after I cut the holes in my dash. Oh well. Anybody have a dashboard out of a wrecked truck?
