Where to mount Tweeters for component sets?

Where do you guys install your tweeters from component sets??? i cant find a good way to mount them. This is up front

most people do it on the pillars but theres a guy on here that recessed them in his armrest on the doors. looks pretty sweet. think his screen name is amarillo something. hes got a yellow rig with a lot of $$ wrapped up in to it with stereo stuff.

I flush mounted mine in the door panel, near the front on the top in the only the flat area on the door. Looks better than being surface mounted on the A pillar in my opinion.

I plan to mount mine inside the removable panel to get to the mirrors....plan on doing quick disconnects and flushing them in there. also plan on ordering an australian guage pod and using 3 in the passenger side front pillar.

for good sound staging they need to be close to the other component(mid) i see tons of people who put tweeters everywhere but close to the mid is the best place for them

i run mine at the bottom of the pillars facing the windshield. Has great imaging

These are just the elcheapo ebay special for 7 bucks. Amazing what they do to the sound quality. These are only here till I get polk DBs someday! What size woofer are you guys using in the door?

I have read that the 08's come with a spot for tweeters. It is the piece that covers the side mirror connection. Apparently it is a direct swap. Only thing I have heard that is the issue is when the door is open there is a gap you will see.... I need to investigate this further though... sounds promising.
