05 dash conversion

so ive been looking for the past hour tryin to figure out how to do the conversion was told it was possible and not very hard but i cant find anything on this subject can anyone help

what do you have to change exactly and what else do i need to know has anyone on here actually done this or am i kinda on my own without pics or anything

it has been done and there is a post with pictures. try powerstroke nation. It's not as hard as people think and you dont have to cut alot, very little actually. its harder to find the dash then the install itself. just found the link w/ pics

you have to put the whole 05 dash in your truck. the bezel will go on your old dash but it wont line you with the radio and stuff

I want to know if you could just trim the recess in the dash where the radio goes and be fine!
