auto door locks

i have an 02 f-350, and it has a aftermarket keyless remote to unlock and lock the doors.. no alarm, just to lock and unlock. but my truck locks the doors automatically as soon as i turn the key on, and everytime i go to warm my truck up i gotta make sure i press unlock before i shut the door or im s.o.l.. ive talked to a couple friends and they said thats factory, and has nnothing to do with the aftermarkit remote, and they said u can turn that off.. unfortunately i dont have the owners manual. they truck didnt have one when i bought it. just wondering if anyone knows how to turn this off?

For an aftermarket system, I'd say locate the module for it and try to find the brand/model markings on it.
Chances are you can search it on the internet, and find a manual, or have the manufacturer e-mail you one.
I went through this when I was trying to figure things out on my remote starter that came with my truck.

I have the same problem and I've locked myself out a couple of times. It has nothing to do with the aftermarket set but is factory from Ford.
I build my aftermarket keyless controll in by myself so everytime I start driving the doors lock and when someone wants to get in the truck my lock-unlock button on the door don't work so I have to unlock the doors with my keyless entry remote. Very anouing.
Don't know how to fix it either.
