Door Open Sensors?

Just got another 99 PSD and it appears to have a "door ajar" sensor problem. Of everything I do know about these trucks, door sensors isn't on the list. 2 questions for you'll:

1. Where are the "door ajar" sensors? I've looked all inside the panels and can't find them.

2. Are the sensors ajustable and if so, how?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Is anyone else having or had problems with these sensors?

they are inside the door latch it self. if the problem is the light in the dash and the dome light is staying on just get some contact cleaner or wd-40 and open you doors and spray it inside the door latch. that fixed mine.

yeah, I just did that. Even cleaned them with carb cleaner first and then soaked them, but not luck. I think my passenger side one is just going out.
