How to take ext. cab door panel off

Passenger side ext.cab door will not open. The top latch seems to be working but the bottom is not. I thought the best way to find the problem was to take the door panel off but I don't want to go riping & tearing & break off the panel tabs.

This is for a 2001 f-350 ext. cab.

ok. I got the door panels off. The latch on the bottom does not seem to be releasing. There is a cable that goes down to it which appears to be intact. I tried pulling on it with pliers while opening the door latch but nothing. Maybe it is seized. I sprayed WD-40 on it but so far still won't open.Very hard place to see what's going on.

Any suugestions?
