headliner grey, i need one
Anyone know where to buy a head liner? Do they come complete or as material? I am missing pieces of the grey in my truck.I am confident i can remove the whole thing and reinstall one? anyone done it? Hints?

if youre talking abotu the gray cloth material that is removable and then you install a new foam backed felt pad. What you do is remove the old headliner ( its usually pressed fiberglass mat to hold a shape) then you peel off the old gray headliner material. Take a brush and brush off the old leftover foam left on the headliner backing.
then use 3m upholstery glue to glue a new piece on. The headliner material is available at pretty much any auto parts store and usually comes ina roll big enough to do a car. You can also find a upholstery shop and get it from them. I did a headliner in this suede material for a buddys dodge quad cab truck . Im gonna redo mine also but its not bad yet |

He's right. Getting it out is very easy. Simply unbolt the seatbelts, hanger clips, sun visors, etc. and unclip the a-pillar plastic, that's it. But if it's windy and you're outside be careful because it IS like a sail.
