6 Disc Changer Jammed?

For those that have the OEM 6 disc changer... I put a CD in last night, go to take another one out, at the display says 'CD error'. I tried ejecting CDs in other slots, same thing. Then tried to play a CD and same thing. No noise was made either when selecting another CD, leading me to believe something is jammed. Any of you come across this, and fix it?

Thanks

Yeah, it could of failed..or it needs to be reset maybe...pull the radio and the plugs on the back...wait a couple of seconds, then plug back in and try eject. I would try this first if you aren't ready to buy a new one.

Thanks for the input..

I was swapping out my batteries a couple of days ago and when I hooked up he fresh ones, I hear the CD changer doing its thing, and out comes a CD!!! So I am guessing the the reset did the trick.

I do have to figure that they all will fail at somepoint or another, it sounds like a lot is going on in there when discs are being changed.

Yup, disconnecting the batteries would work too! Glad you got it to work.
