Chips/Programmer

I have a 99' 250 and she is stock except for an exhaust. I read in an old thread that people recommend DP chip or TW Chips. I am looking to do some performace mods soon but I am new to the hole customizing scence and
don't know what DP or TW stands for.

TW stands for Tony Wildman & I believe DP stands for Diesel Performance(but Jody's the man you wanna look for as far as tuning). Both Jody & Tony are THE top when it comes to custom tunes for the 7.3. One mod you really want to look for is gauges. The 3 common gauges you want are boost, EGT, & trans temp. The 2 most important ones are trans temp & EGT, but it never hurts keeping track of boost for gains, possible boost leaks, & it just looks friggin' cool when you romp on the fuel!

You can actually go onto DP's site right here on the forum. Go to Forums @ the top of the menu & scroll down to the bottom. All the site sponsors are listed in alphabetical order. Just find DP & click on the icon. Yes, I'm running the Tony Wildman 6pos, & it's incredible! Both Jody & Tony are awesome & I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
