Need info...

Ok, I've seen many posts saying to do the TW chip with gauges. My dad has the 06 6.0 with an edge/A2. They now offer that for the 7.3. I like the A2 due to the fact that you get the GPS, Camera and gauges all right there, but have read that the edge is bad for the tranny. What does it do to it? What I'd really like to know is, what do you, the people that already have chips or tuners, think is the best set up? Thanks in advance.

Run away from the juice on both trucks. Go with TW, DP, PHP or any other custom tuner. Edge is junk

It doesnt tune the transmission at all for one. We went through 2 transmissions on our work truck in 3 years because of the edge. Now the boss listened and is running a real chip. For two the engine tuning isn't that great either

Ok, I'm liking the TW. What Gauges(brand) should I get? I'm going to do boost, egt and tranny temp. Do I want digital or analog? All that I really know is that I want black faces to match my cluster.

i know someone who trashed there tranny with an edge. tech at ford told him they see quite a few edge wrecked trannys

Check with Raul@Stealthautomotive on the gauges and TW chip. He's got a package deal

I've seen a blown head gasket on my dad's 6.0 from it. In fact, Ford dented his fender when they repaired it.

1250 pre turbo is max sustained egt. short bursts above that are ok. Trans temps max 215
