What mods for pulling a 48' gooseneck?

This is for a friend that has a 2000 F-350 7.3 DRW CC 2wd 6spd. He is going to buy a 48' trailer. What mods do you recommend? He has a superchips on it with exhaust.

I would get an air-bag setup or an add-a-leaf. They work wonders with big trailers like that!

Does he have gauges along with the superchips? Airbags would be a nice mod for that.

I'd go with gauges. Thats a pretty big trailer and the vitals of the drivetrain should be watched.

air bags are always nice but since there is gonna be so much strain on the truck I would definitly get gauges to watch how that superchips is pushing the engine
