How much boost with TW chip?

I just got my gauges installed and when in extreme I seen 28 lbs. of boost once in high gear it seemed like I gained 2 more lbs. once in drive or overdrive not sure, is this all normal or should I have more or less? Also seen 26lbs. in Street tune. Any dyno guesses from expierience people would be appreciated. Thanks guys this forum has been alot of help I didnt know anything a couple months ago about diesels, now I know enough to get me in trouble

i should of noticed that..

an exhaust leak will for sure make you lose boost.... up pipes are a PITA to fix.... easily take the whole day to get them switched out to a new setup

Good Luck! I had the same problem. Let the truck cool down, fire it up, get underneath it, run your hands from manifolds up to back of turbo, most likely it will be leaking from the Y collector that goes into the back of the turbo. My truck only had 70K on it everyone said bellowed up pipes, but i did not have the money so I bought the ford donuts gaskets and took my time. They worked for me on my truck but I think the low mileage helped.

Its leaking right at the manifold (DRIVER SIDE) where it bolts to the up pipe I can see all the black carbon build up. so it might not be bad to fix?

Boost isnt what makes power. If you are seeing 26lbs of boost I think you are doing just fine. A stock turbo is only rated at 24lbs anyway.

As for the exhaust leak you might be able to tighten that up a little but to fix it depending on how bad it is leaking.
