10k mod and tymar

I really liked the tymar intake thanks for the part #'s. I also tried the 10k mod and didn't notice anything but a rough idle, no real power gain and no crazy black smoke. So did I do something wrong. The mods are on a 1999 350 drw cc lb w/auto. some of you with similiar mods want to give me some insight.

I agree with Mako, go with a proper chip, It will do what the 10k does, plus much more, and the DP is a great chip, and in my opinion much safer way to go. Good luck.

Gord.

You'll only see smoke under hard excel and when the turbo isn't lit...

IE: at 40 in OD and you firewall the skinny pedal, or when you mash the go pedal from a dead stop. you should also notice small spurts if you rev it in neutral.
