My tranny is officially a 3spd

Well, THe 4r100 has just about had its day. Lately the second to third shift has been really firm. I put the pedal to the metal the other day and before the tranny could shift in to third it revved up really high and kaboooom. I dont have a second gear anymore. Ive been dogglegging it around town the last couple days untill I can get my tax returns back.

Ok, Im going to build it my self with my teacher up at school. Ive have a budget of about $1,200

Whats a decent better than stock convertor?

There are so many rebuild kits out there which one is the best bang for the buck?

Im probably going to get a transgo shift kit off ebay.

ANy tips, suggestions, are greatly appreciated. THnks Guys

Matt
