Ford Audi or Volkswagen

Rec'd my TW chip today just in time for the ALMS Races this wknd at Miller Motor Sports Park, UT. My buddy and I are going to the races all 3 days, and they actually let you bring your own vehicle out on the race tract to run around the track a couple of laps (for money of course). I was kidding my buddy that I should jump on the track with 1 of the Audi R10's and may the best diesel win.
If you guys have never seen an ALMS race they are fun to watch. Volkswagon sponsors one of the divisions for up and coming drivers and they are all identical and diesels. Nobody in the ALMS can burn straight gas, it has to be an alternative fuel. We went last year and watched the R10's and I was expecting the usual sounding diesel and believe it or not the Audi's were the quietest car on the track. All you could hear was the turbo wing up as it got ready to go and it's wild watching 4 divisions racing together at the same time.
Catch if you can it's on Speed channel this Sunday at 10pm eastern time. Oh yeah they also have a 3/4 mile go-cart track to race on and yes there is some serious beer bet on this race. Also a bottle of Patron who also sponsors one of the race teams (an Acura).
