ITP regulated return question

I have had the rr and pre pump/in tank for a few weeks now, and i was screwing around with the pressure today, had my brother cycle the wts. to cut the pump on and off, and it seems like there is air coming out from around the regulator, it is like a hissing sound, no fuel leaks, but I am slightly concerned with this noise.

Any ideas?
