foil delete. how loud?

im thinking about doing the doil delete on my truck i was wondering how much louder it is. it whistles good now but it is my daily driver and i dont want it to loud that it gets annoying. so how much louder we talkin?

are you kidding?? it makes a the turbo alot louder but only when you givin it alot of pedal. just normal driving it doesnt make any difference. i didnt care about the looks, i just did it for the sound.

I didn't notice much sound difference when I did mine 3 years ago just that i wanted it to look clean. If you want sound get a ATS and a WW or a 38r

they are taking the foil coveing off their intercooler tubes

My truck is daily driven and I don't notice the additional sound from the foil delete under normal conditions. If I pull a big hill aggressively or tow, well whenever there is lots of boost being made, the naked intercooler pipe can really put a lot of noise into the cab. It is noticable and almost shrill.

I am glad I did it but if you like a quiet cab then you might be sorry.

If you want to here the turbo take the intake tube off the turbo, no filter. It sounds pretty good. I wouldnt do it anywhere around sandy soil though.
