Air Intake Heater Delete

I want to hook my boost gauge up here. ITP says there is no problem deleting it so I was thining I could kill two birds with one stone. Install the boost gaiusge and get rid of the AIH.

Does anyone have any pertinant info on this mod? Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with it? Who has it done this way?

I bought the standard aih plug from beans i think. then i drilled and tapped it for my boost gauge. its worked great for quite awhile now. i think i may have seen plugs that come pre-tapped for boost gauges now though. so, go for it!

This is the way mine is too.

Been that way forever, no problem.

That thing almost never activates anyway.
