Transgo shift kit!

Im ordering the transgo shift kit, is this any good. What do you guys recomend

I had one in my first tranny and I liked it, I had the $100 transgo tugger kit. It wasn’t too hard to install but be careful not to let all those tiny balls spill out and run all over your garage like I did. It is a bugger trying to find all of them.

what do u run now in your tranny. Im getting the tw tunes and am worried about my trans slipping

I have it in mine currently,seems to be a good shift kit.

Last one in my signature list "BTS valve body"

The first tranny was basically ruined when I bought the truck at 130K, I put the tugger kit in it and had the TQ rebuilt and added a gauge and extra cooler, all that got her another 3 hard years and up to 198K. I then bought a new Ford reman tranny with 3yr 75K warranty for $2035 and put a $225 BTS valve body in it. I think BTS uses the tugger kit in their valve bodies so I really don't know how much difference there is between putting the transgo kit in yourself and getting the whole valve body?

I've had them both but in two different trannys, can't say there is a whole lotta difference, main thing is put something in it and make sure you got a temp gauge in the case and you watch it, heat kills.

Any idea on the hole size you drilled in the Transgo plate? And did you end up with hard shifts or comfortable

I have the BTS valve body with what I guess is the transgo in it and I like it! It pulls better for sure!

I used a drill that was about in the middle of the range in the directions. As for hard or comfortable, its hard to say, that’s more of an opinion that will differ with the person and the application. I would say it was a little on the hard side for me but it was way better than before, tuning also has a lot to do with it.
