when talking about this guy in particular, yeah it sounds fishy but still possible. A supercharger on a diesel can be a good way to make HP if setup correctly. Plain and simple. Marine diesels use them, same concept different application. I never said anything good about this guys wacked beepbeepbeep motor, just that I know it can be done.
