It appears you didn't need to much convincing, lol!!!!!
Put it this way, many years ago when I was researching what tunes to use I couldn't find one single person that had used both a Genric tune and also a custom tune ( DP, TW) that said they liked the generic tune better. This made a huge statement to me and it should to you also. Not to mention after all these years I have still yet to hear someone say they liked the generic stuff better, at least without laughing. Enjoy your new found power, just make sure you have the supporting mods first. NCH |

YOu have all the mods you need. Just make sure you list them and al the other details when ordering.
Also, I would max out the chip with 6 tunes. |

Great thanks for the advice! What arangement of the six tunes do you guys reccomend? and also is there a big difference between the two tow tunes were its worth getting both?

I would get the high idle, heavy tow, street, extreme, _________, smoke. THe tunes are as important as the order.
I would not get daily. Also I was told that there wasn't a big difference between light and heavy tow. I drive daily in heavy tow and sometimes in extreme. Street Race and Smoke are not drivable on my chip ona daily basis but they are greaat tunes. Daily sucks IMO. I can't stand it. Zoodad is cutting a hole in the radiator support in front of the intake snorkel |

You'll want a good set of gauges, a boost gauge, pyrometer, and trans temp before you add any sort of chip. You've already got your airflow taken care of so you are good to go after you get gauges. You can order the chip from a vendor such as steath automotive, or you can order it straight from Tony himself.Quote:
1. stock - worthless, don't get it, if you want stock unplug the chip. Im getting this replaced with a drive thru tune. 2. economy - slight power over stock, lower shift points than stock, i do 98% of my driving in this tune 3. daily - never use it, im getting a custom file written as a replacement for this 4. tow - higher shift points than stock, automatically downshifts to help slow you down 5. smoke - look in my sig to see what this does. 6. extreme - ![]() Yep. |
