Code P0605 Internal Control Module ROM Error?

We have 2000psd with a DP Chip and it is throwing this code. Does this mean the computer is failing? I thought with a chip it doesn't throw a code. Or is there something else wrong. Another thing we've noticed is the truck doesn't start to well, I don't know if that is related or not. Any help is appreiated.

Usually, the P0605 comes up when a truck's scanned with a tuner/programmer/or chip plugged in. As for your hard starting, try unplugging the DP to see if it clears up any just to see if the problem goes away. If it starts the same, you've eliminated the DP as being the culprit, if not, call Jody or run some diags with a good scan tool.
