So my chip is fried and I'm in dire need of gauges.I needs some help in pulling across the mountain and a little more power.Wouldn't this kit be the best way for me to go?My budget is tight for now.

I run that kit on my crew cab truck, works pretty good at keeping egt's in check. The little display that comes with the kit is kind of nice too. Shows egt's, boost, and percentage of injection. It's pretty easy to adjust the settings as well.

Overall, I'm happy with it.

why not take that money and get a new chip, gauges, intake and exhaust??? all of that could be done for under a grand

Thats kinda what I'm asking?What would be the best route for me.I pull around 9k threw the tallest grades in North GA.I already have the exhaust and going to do the intake next.Like I said before ,I'm in dire need of gauges and need a little more ump to pull those grades.It seems for now this would fit me better than a chip and some guages or would it?

It can be done

BTM = $75
DIY intake = $50
chip = 200 to ? (depends on whos chip and # of programs)
Gauges = $300 to $500 depending on what you get

If you are looking to fork out a grand, do it right! get gauges so you have an idea of what is going on in there (EGTs and tranny are a must) too much EGT = lots of money to fix!!! too hot of a tranny = big bills too. in stock form, I doubt you will even have to worry about EGTs. but you want more power, so add a chip with a good tune (Tony,DP, gearhead, DI, BTS and on. I suggest a ts style over the DP style though..)

Next do the DIY intake for $50 bucks.

you can get a quality intake for $50???? and my gauges were way less than $300... and yeah im getting at TW chip its around 400... but the intake? Where do you find it for 50?
