How much BOOST?

How much boost should 2000 7.3L PSD produce? The truck has an aftermarket intake, 4" exhaust, map fooler, gauges and just installed a TW chip. The best I can get out of it is on street mode and it will only boost about 17psi max. Is this normal?

Mine will peg 30 PSI with leaking up pipes. i also have stage 2 injectors also. but yours sound like is running on the low side. check for leaks at all of your boots and at your up pipes

Dont think so, all of the engine is stock except for the add-ons

WW wouldn't hurt. If you don't have any surge i wouldn't worry about it unless your stock wheel takes a crap

check your IC boots it sounds like you have a boost leak

should be between 22-27 mine would push 25-27 when i had just the intake exhaust chip. shes pushin 40+ now with injectors and turbo

I would think you should be around 25 to 27Psi..I am right at 30psi.with roughly the same set -up.

yea thats way low im gettin 30-33 with the same setup

you have a leak somewhere.... i would easily see 30psi+ with my setup...

check all your hoses and check to make sure you dont have an exhaust leak on the up pipes

I hit 31 with that same setup. You have a leak. Check your IC boots, up pipes and make sure your Boost guage is working properly. Where are you tapped into for the Boost guage?
