Unhappy DIY Boost fooler

Just completed the diy boost fooler and i am not to impressed. Dont know if i messed something up or what. I set the regulator at 20psi and took it for a spin and didnt feel any difference, does running a 3.9k make difference or what????

ya the DIY boost fooler "regulator style" is very hard to get set propperly. you need a 4.7v zener diode in your MAP sensor. if interested pm me Ill try to dig up the directions on this sight.

Built engine, rods, pushrods, cam, springs. Meth, turbo, injectors, fuel system, oil system. 3 disk billet, billet shafts built trans, 6.0 IC, exhaust, intake. Latter bars, gears, system, tint, HIDs. You know the typical stuff to make a 7.3 get out of its own way... dont brake.

ya mine did that too when i had a edge. you have to adjust your max EGTs on your attitude monitor. it will stop defueling. you will need to start paying attention to EGTs tho. its not boost that kicks the defuel on, its EGTs thru the edge. has nothing to do with the truck it self. the edge stuff is kinda wierd.

be careful, the one thing I miss about my edge was the defuel setting. it was great because I could SMASH on it and it would auto back off the fuel flow.
