Like banshee said, watch the EGT's. Some of us have shifting issues with the resistor mod. I know i did, it made my tranny shift real sloppy and slipped alot during shifts, not good, especially when towing.

so it would be best just to take it out on long heavy tows....is that with all the resistor or just the 5.6k?

i wouldnt run it maybe a 22k or something small.

It depends on your shifting. If it still shifts tight then you could leave it in. It will effect it with all resistors. With mine, the lower number resistor i put in, the looser the shifts were. I had a 1k in for a very short time, and it took like almost 2 seconds between gears, not good.

yea when i had the 3.3k resistor on i would blow the rev limiter for a few seconds then slam into the next gear

yeah that aint good ill just turn em off when i hual anything just to be on the safe side.
