Terrible Cust Svc

So just thought I'd let you all know whats up with the propane kit. I was smelling gas when the regulator would turn on while driving and it was getting worse and worse. I finally triggered it while the motor was off to see exactly where the gas was coming from. Turns out it was blowing out the sides and front of the regulator. Ive had propane regulators on three engines of ours (pre 1990's) and never had this problem. I finally got frustrated and took the front of the regulator off to see what was going on. Turns out its pretty simple. BullyDog just has a round canvas/rubber diaphragm that keeps propane from blowing out of the adjustment screw areas. This piece was cracked and leaking propane right out the front of the regulator. I thought hey, I'll email bullydog and see if they can send this $3 piece of plastic and I can be back on the road with no fireworks shows. Well today I get the email response.....

Make sure that the above information is on the outside of the package. Include a check or money order made out to Bully Dog for the amount of $150. In order to get your regulator rebuilt we must send it in to our Idaho office. If it is not repairable, there will be no charge and you regulator will be shipped back to you.

And that's the entire response. So basically no, I can not get this part, but i CAN send them $150 upfront, ship them my regulator, and if its fixable (drop in a piece of plastic and tighten six screws) they keep my money to fix their wonderful craftsmanship. If its not fixable, they'll send me back a billet paperweight free of charge. Thanks bullydog, Ill make sure and consider you for my next product purchase..........

Yeah I wouldn't pee on anything bullydog if it caught on fire. I learned my lesson with their power pup programmer. 100% pure garbage.
