Shocks

I'm looking at upgrading my shocks, I am already running Firestone Airbags all the way around, am I wasting money, or will they still help smooth out the ride a bit?

Also, any good deals or suggestions on what to get or look for in my application would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Don't have any expierience with the air bags, but I just installed a set of Monroe Reflex shocks on my 99 F350 last night. I can't believe the difference in the ride over the stock shocks with 97k on them. Much, much better.

Just installed Bilsteins on my truck Monday. They definately improved the ride of the long-since-worn-out 188k mile stockers. My truck has relatively stiff stock springs, and the shocks seem to control them pretty well. Not a soft ride, but a controlled one. A friend put a set of the Monroe's on his '99 F350 a few months back, and they work well too. They didn't seem quite as stiff as the Bilsteins, but not a lot of difference.
