Can you sell used tuners?

Hello, I have an Edge Evolution tuner I want to get rid of and get a TW chip. I have put the truck back to stock tune. Is that all I need to do so the next person they buys it can use it? Thanks

As long as its not VIN locked.

Call Edge and ask them.

It will be vin locked. IIRC it is 50$ to have it reflashed.

Really? I sold my old Edge Evolution to a guy I see almost weekly and he didn't have to do anything to get it to work on his truck, just plugged it in!

It gets VIN locked if you don't return it to stock.

If you put it back to stock, then it is ready to use on another truck.

Programmers are easier to go from one truck to another than a chip is.

i think he ment he is selling the edge to get a tw.

I just Sold My Super Chip and as Long as you return the the truck to stock the chip is ready to go on any other truck.
